An Interview with Tom Kohl
What are your favorite things to do outside of kneeboarding?
Building and fabricating machines that go fast, Snowbikes, and Dune Buggies to Ratrods and even a race ready School Buss or two, if I am not on the lake, I am in the shop!
What place I would like to ride that you haven’t been?
If you didn’t have a career in kneeboarding what would you do?
Even if I hadn’t signed on with O’Brien, lets be honest. I would still be skiing and having fun with the fam on the lake, just not with as nice of gear.
What is the best thing that has happened in your life as a result of this sport?
Being able to meet so many people who share the same passion as I do, and being able to travel the country to participate in kneeboard events with those people.
How long have you been riding for O’Brien?
I have been with O’Brien 5 years.
What’s the best thing about riding for O’Brien?
The O’Brien Brand ideology of “Family and Friends on the water” is what I am all about. I live for the evenings on the lake after work, and the weekends of sunrise to sunset on the water, and there is no one else in the world I want to spend that time with but my family and close friends. For me it is the feeling that I belong here, this is me, this is what I am all about, this is the company that I want to represent.
