An Interview with Matt Crowhurst
What is your discipline?
Boat, cable wakeboard, wakesurf & foil for life
What are your favorite things to do outside of wakeboarding?
Snowboarding when I can & getting in the rave square with my wife.
What place I would like to ride that you haven’t been?
I’m desperate to get to BSR Wake Park, yes for the wakeboarding but just a little bit to do with that wave machine they have.
If you didn’t have a career in wakeboarding what would you do?
A maths teacher.
What is the best thing that has happened in your life as a result of this sport?
It has to be meeting my wife and the result Crowhurst brude! Too many good times on top of this to count
How long have you been riding for O’Brien?
Longer than anyone else on the planet. It will be 20 years come January 2019.
What’s the best thing about riding for O’Brien?
The equipment is second to none. I’ve always loved all the boards I’ve ridden, they are so tough and work so well whether it’s a park or boat board. Not many people know that O’Brien were the first board company to have an impact base as well. I think it was back in 2003 maybe!
